As a hydraulic engineer with nearly forty years of experience and a self-taught painter with over half a century of practice, I’ve discovered a profound synergy between technical precision and creative expression. My artistic skills have enriched my engineering career, allowing me to present visually compelling and clear designs. At the same time, engineering has sharpened my understanding of composition, proportion, and perspective in painting. These two disciplines, seemingly distant, have supported and enhanced each other, shaping a unique and inspiring journey.
Artistic Profile
Self-taught painter specializing in oil, pastel, and charcoal techniques. I’m passionate about landscapes, portraits, feminine beauty, horses, and still life. Water is my main source of inspiration—its reflections, ripples, and tonal variations. I pay close attention to color temperature, light direction, and perspective, respecting the shifts in hue, warmth, and saturation with distance.
Artistic Experience
– Creation of artworks exploring a wide range of subjects, with a special focus on water.
– Development of a personal technique and distinctive style emphasizing depth and texture.
– Participation in numerous local and international exhibitions, receiving recognition for originality and quality.

Artistic Philosophy
My art is a journey through emotion and human experience, exploring life’s complexity through a personal lens. I believe art is a dialogue between the artist and the world—a way to connect with God, others, and oneself. I use innovative techniques to express ideas and feelings, creating works that invite reflection and a sense of belonging to something greater. I resonate deeply with Plutarch’s words:
“Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks.”
